Acre Wood Barn aims to provide a welcoming, accessible holiday let on the edge of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Our holiday let is wheelchair accessible throughout, providing level access from the parking space to the house, with slope access to the garden.
Our kitchen/ dining offers floor height fridge and freezer, as well as a raised dishwasher for easy use. The adjustable height worktop includes an induction hob and sink, with a slide and glide oven alongside.
Bedroom one contains one single profiling bed with cot sides, a regular bed, electric tracking hoist from the bed to wet room, an H frame covering the bedroom area, storage space, and a smart tv. The trifold doors open out onto hard standing, shaded sensory garden.
Attached to Bedroom One is the Wet Room, with an electric shower, adjustable height dropdown shower bench, WC with grabrails, variable height wash basin, and heated towel rail.
Bedroom Two contains two single electric profiling beds, which can be configured as a super king. The trifold doors open out onto patio area.
The Shower Room has waterfall and handheld showerheads, level access toilet and sink, and heated towel rail.
In addition, we can provide an electric Mobile Hoist, Shower Buddy wheelchair and toilet frame with seat upon request.

After booking has been confirmed and deposit has been sent in, a form will be sent out to allow guests to select the accessibility requirements they need, including additional mobility aids as well as bed arrangements in each of the three bedrooms.
